Deborah Parizek is Executive Director of Henry Ford Learning Institute, which is responsible for the strategy, educational model, infrastructure and community collaborations in support of the launch and growth of Latina Leaders x Design. Deborah is not only a notable nonprofit leader with 25+ years of experience working in communities of color, she is a progressive educator and trailblazer who adapted design thinking for education and developed innovative, community-supported schools in three major US cities. She is known for cultivating the conversations, empathy, and capacity critical to addressing complex challenges, which she brings to bear in her role as a Latina Leaders x Design co-founder and ongoing advisor.
